The Gallery is one of the major beneficiaries of donations from the collection of Joseph F. McCrindle (1923–2008), having received over 300 old master and modern drawings as well as 13 paintings. This exhibition celebrates McCrindle's legacy with the finest of the works on paper: 71 drawings by a broad range of artists spanning five centuries, including a notable group of watercolors by John Singer Sargent.
