THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Government is hereby releasing a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for industry review and comment.

The draft PWS is posted on the NAVAIR Open Solicitation Homepage website (http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations). Unclassified written comments, recommendations, and questions regarding the draft PWS shall be submitted by 30 June 2012 to the following: karen.d.lynch@navy.mil to her attention at 301-757-7057. Please copy Mr. Randy Utz at randy.utz@navy.mil when emailing. Questions shall be limited to matters not involving classified and/or business proprietary matters. At any time after receipt of comments/questions, the Government reserves the right to contact respondents for further clarification of the submittal. Additionally, questions received from potential offerors and Government responses will be posted on the NAVAIR Open Solicitation Homepage and will not be posted to any other website to include FedBizOpps.

An Interested Parties List will be compiled of those contractor’s interested in this effort for the purpose of prime and subcontractor collaborative opportunities. This Interested Parties List will be compiled on a voluntary basis. If interested in being included please provide a point of contact’s name, company name, business size, cage code, and phone number to aforementioned Government contacts, Ms. Karen Lynch and Mr. Randy Utz, by 30 June 2012. Upon completion the Voluntary Interested Parties List will be posted to the NAVAIR Open Solicitation Homepage and will not be posted to any other website to include FedBizOpps.

This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government.
