Have questions about our efforts to promote alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, and fuel efficiency? Then join us at 12PM ET on Tuesday, March 20, for a live Twitter Q&A with Mark Smith from the Energy Department’s Clean Cities program. As the vehicle deployment manager for Clean Cities, Smith develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to expand the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies.

During Tuesday’s live Q&A, Smith will be answering your questions about the National Clean Fleets Partnership -- a major effort aimed at reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil.

The National Clean Fleets Partners operate on a very large scale -- collectively operating 1 million vehicles across the nation. When these partners adopt efficiency measures, there is a tangible, positive impact on the communities in which they do business. By incorporating a variety of energy-efficient and advanced vehicle technologies into daily operations, the Clean Fleets Partners are helping to change the way we power transportation in this country.
