The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) hosts a series of webinars on national highway research priorities for University Transportation Centers (UTCs) from the end of March through the middle of May. The purpose of the webinars is to communicate national highway-related challenges and research priorities to consider when developing UTC research agendas. Because of their interest in FHWA’s national coordination efforts and the States’ potential ability to provide match funding for UTC work, State research managers, and FHWA division research and development coordinators also were invited to participate in the webinars. The presentations made at the webinars are available for viewing and download below.
The United States Department of Transportation invests in the future of transportation through its UTC Program, which awards grants to universities across the Nation to advance the state of the art in transportation research and develop the next generation of transportation professionals.
