Brig. Gen. Mark D. Kelly is the Commander, 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. He is responsible for providing realistic combat adversary training to U.S. and allied forces in air, space and information operations via RED FLAG-Alaska, Pacific Air Forces' premier national and multinational large-force training exercise, and through PACAF's only Aggressor Squadron. He is also responsible for deploying Airmen in support of global operations and for enabling the staging of forces through Eielson AFB.

General Kelly entered the Air Force in 1986, receiving his commission from the Air Force ROTC program at Southwest Texas State University. He earned his pilot wings at Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training at Sheppard AFB, Texas. General Kelly has served as an Air Education and Training Command instructor pilot and as an exchange officer with the Royal Australian Air Force. He has commanded a fighter squadron and a fighter wing. General Kelly is a command pilot with more than 5,300 flying hours, including more than 400 combat hours in fighter aircraft. He has served in operational units in the Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Combat Command where he led combat missions over Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq in support of operations Deliberate Force, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
