John M. Miller, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Program Executive Officer for Agile Combat Support Directorate Center, Air Force Life Cycle Management, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Mr. Miller directs one of AFMC's largest material systems directorates with more than 1,200 military and civilian personnel charged with executing an annual budget in excess of $2.6 billion. The ACS Directorate consists of eight divisions: Alternative Fuels Certification Office; Combat Electronics Systems; Environmental and Industrial Engineering; Human Systems; Propulsion Systems; Simulator Systems; Special Programs;, and Training Aircraft Systems. He is responsible for program execution to develop, acquire, field and modernize capabilities; and support for life-cycle management as well as the horizontal integration of material solutions to address Air Force military operational requirements.

Mr. Miller began his career with the Air Force in 1988 at the Aerospace Guidance and Metrology Center, Newark AFB, Ohio. He has held a variety of assignments at logistics and product centers, a Naval Air Station, Air Force Materiel Command and the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. Mr. Miller's experience covers engineering, program and logistics management, and policy development. He was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in August 2010.
