Michael A. Gill, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Executive Director, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The organization is the single center responsible for total life cycle management covering all aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic systems. The center is responsible for more than 26,000 AFLCMC Airmen, civilian and contractor employees performing center missions from some 75 locations.

Mr. Gill, a Georgia native, entered government service with the Air Force in 1982 under the Mid-level Management Training Program at Robins AFB, Ga., where he served as a contracting officer and contracts manager supporting multiple aircraft and weapon systems. He has served in many varied positions across the department. He has served as the program manager for the Air Force Contracting and Manufacturing Civilian Career Program, Randolph AFB, Texas; as the Director of the TRICARE Regional Office South, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, San Antonio, Texas; and as the Director of Contracting, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. Prior to his current assignment, he was Executive Director, Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah. Mr. Gill entered the Senior Executive Service in 2001.
