Roles in the Corps: Enlisted Aircrew
Enlisted aircrews are responsible for preparing the aircraft and overseeing its functions during missions and tactical in-flight refueling. They perform navigational duties, operate and maintain communications systems, and load equipment.
The Aviation Combat Element conducts operations such as offensive air support, aerial reconnaissance and electronic warfare. They support ground forces and maintain air superiority. See more roles in the Air.
