JOB SUMMARY:
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) manages the exploration and development of the nation's offshore resources. It seeks to appropriately balance economic development, energy independence, and environmental protection through oil and gas leases, renewable energy development, and environmental reviews and studies.
The incumbent serves as Chief of the Leasing Section in the Alaska Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Region. The Section is responsible for administration of all documents and activity pertaining to Alaska OCS oil and gas lease sales.
GS-14 is the full performance level.
This is a permanent position.
This position is located in Anchorage, AK
