Mission statement

Alaska Agriculture

To serve the agriculture industry in Alaska we must understand its needs and identify goals for the long-term growth and viability. A major part of this process requires that the Division of Agriculture initiate and support a process that involves all Alaskans who are an integral part of the industry. Our goal for Alaska agriculture will be an economically stable industry that can enhance the quality of life for its people, create self sufficient agriculture communities, and nurture new business development for all Alaskans. We appreciate the opportunities Alaska provides and input from all Alaskans.
