9/21/2012 - ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AFNS) -- The Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Crash Recovery Unit and Anchorage Port Authority removed an F-4 Phantom II fuel tank that was embedded in the harbor bank here Sept. 18.

Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Airmen and the Port of Anchorage worked together to safely remove the external fuel tank, which was discovered by Port personnel.
