Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program

Environmental Quality Incentives Program
In 2009, USDA funded 29 Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development projects that trained more than 5,000 new producers in the first year. In 2010, 40 projects were funded. The projects operate in 40 states.
