“We start from zero, but right now we are trying to give police and personnel good training but we’re not at the level of the United States. The U.S. has good protection and security in their country, but we are trying to help the future of Afghanistan with good personnel and security forces,” said Col. Attaullah Noristani, Uniform Police Director.

122 new officers join ABP after last class with international mentors

“I believe they will take what they learned here and use it in the field,” said Mohammad Sediqi, executive officer of ABP 5th Zone. “They are good soldiers and are confident. Right now there are enemy forces trying to recruit into the Afghan National Security Forces. These (graduates) have been vetted, so we can get some kind of control, find people who will take responsibility.”
