Biotechnology/Chemical/Pharmaceutical Customer Partnership
Crystal Square 4
Arlington, VA 22202
August 7, 2001
The Biotechnology and Chemical/Pharmaceutical Customer Partnerships are designed to be a forum to share ideas, experiences, and insights between individual users and the USPTO. The USPTO does not intend to use these customer partnership groups to arrive at any consensus.
In the past we have held two separate customer partnership meetings, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. However, to avoid redundancy, we have reorganized the two partnerships into a single, full day event - the Biotechnology/Chemical/Pharmaceutical (BCP) Customer
Partnership . In the morning, we will focus on Office level issues of general interest to all practitioners, such as electronic filing, pre-examination application processing, the petition process, appeals, and others. In the afternoon, we will have four 20 - 40 minute presentations of a more technical nature. We will also be preparing more precise agendas so that those wishing to attend for only specific topics may be assured of the time of the presentation.
The next meeting of the BCP Customer Partnership is scheduled for Tuesday August 7, 2001 from 9:00 AM. to 4:00 PM in Crystal Square 4 Suite 700 located at 1745 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia. The agenda for this meeting is attached below.
