UPDATED Dreier, Meeks to Hold Pen & Pad on U.S.-Egypt FTA Resolution

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rules Committee Chairman David Dreier (R-CA) and Representative Gregory Meeks (D-NY) will hold a media pen and pad on Thursday, November 17, 2011 to discuss their resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States should initiate negotiations to enter into a free trade agreement with Egypt. The resolution comes in advance of Egypt’s first post-revolution parliamentary elections, which will commence on November 28.
