“I started asking around as to what the Afghans might need,” said Lt. Khalid Kader stationed at Camp Eggers, Kabul, “and blankets were the overwhelming choice. These are easily used, high value items to them, especially in homes with no heat.”

Afghan women at the Kabul Female Prison and Detention Center receive family care bags with clothing, shoes, toiletry items and small toys  during a Volunteer Community Relations (VCR) mission.
