Florida National Guard to hold 9-11 remembrance ceremony at Camp Blanding

CAMP BLANDING JOINT TRAINING CENTER (Sept. 7, 2011) – The Florida National will hold a 9-11 ceremony at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

The ceremony at the Camp Blanding Museum and Memorial Park will begin at 8:30 a.m. The event will honor: all who lost their lives that day; all who have lost their lives in service; and all who continue to serve and protect this nation.

Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll is scheduled to be the guest speaker at Sunday’s event.
