Housing
The lack of affordable housing can be a significant hardship for low-income households and often prevents them from meeting other basic needs, such as nutrition, health care, or saving for the future. Two prominent organizations, LISC and Habitat for Humanity, are dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing and have been partners with AmeriCorps since its inception in 1994. Following are some of our most relevant resources on issues related to housing.
