Enhanced Cold Weather Sleeping Bag
An enhanced cold weather sleeping bag, developed in coordination between the U.S. Forest Service and industry, is now available. It is a mummy-style bag for use by Wildland Firefighters in cold weather and is comfortable to 30 degrees F. The size is 81" long and 35" wide inside, with a 60" zipper with draft tube, full hood, and drawstring closure and neck tube. Color: foliage green. NFES 0268, NSN 8465-01-602-3355, $92.26. New Fire Catalog
GSA Global Supply's 2012 Wildland Fire Equipment Catalog is now available! Produced annually, it contains approximately 350 products for federal customers and state/local firefighting agencies holding cooperative agreements with USDA's Forest Service. The catalog includes an alphabetical index by product name and numerical indexes by National Stock Number (NSN), and National Fire Equipment System (NFES) number, along with ordering instructions and details regarding after-hours and emergency support. New Fire Helmets Available
As an alternative to the Bullard helmets, GSA now offers two Morning Pride helmets through the Wildland Fire Program. They have a ratchet suspension, fit sizes 6-1/2 to 8 and are NFPA 1977 compliant. The helmets are yellow and available in cap style or full brim. The Forest Service has posted information on how to install the velcro for the face and neck shroud. [Posted February 2, 2012.]

Portable Pump Spill Containment Berm Now Available
A portable spill containment berm is now available for use with most portable pumps and generators. They are designed to contain fuel and oil spills along with any hazardous materials. Deployed size is 32 x 32 x 4 inches and folded size is 7 x 4 x 33 inches. The berm is made from chemical resistant, synthetic rubber and features corrosion-resistant metal grommets, wall stiffeners and corner reinforcements.
