The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to curing Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, is so excited to introduce a brand new website especially for college students with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD), Campus Connection. Campus Connection serves as platform to help connect college-aged IBD patients and provide resources to this age group that speak directly to their needs. It also helps young people fight for the cures for these diseases.
Short Bowel Syndrome (sometimes referred to as SBS) is a disorder that affects people who have had large portions of their small intestine surgically removed as a result of a digestive illness, such as Crohn’s disease. Learn more about its causes and treatments.
Our Information Resource Center is here to answer your questions! You can call the IRC toll-free at 888.694.8872 or e-mail info@ccfa.org. The IRC is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm EST.
