Talking Traffic Webinar

Where: Hosted Online: FHWA Talking Traffic Webinar
Date: All Talking Traffic webinar's are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 2 pm (EDT).
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Details: The Talking Traffic webinar objective is to foster the exchange of traffic information, policies and practices between different agencies. This FHWA sponsored webinar series is meant to encourage collaborative work and share information for the betterment of all attendees. Talking Traffic subjects vary significantly from new traffic counting initiatives; to advanced quality control procedures; to best practices utilized to obtain the highest quality traffic data.

October 22-26: Highway Information Seminar (HIS)

Location: National Highway Institute Training Facility, Arlington, Virginia
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Details: The HIS course consists of lectures and workshops. The lectures focus on current topical issues related to FHWA programs and the uses of Highway Statistics information. The technical workshops provide a forum for those involved in the collection, review, summarization, and reporting of highway statistical data. The workshops also give participants an opportunity to interact with their peers from other States, discuss common problems, seek and share solutions to reporting problems, and clarify reporting and other data issues with FHWA staff.
