As part of the U.S. Department of Education’s third annual back-to-school bus tour, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller will visit Glenwood Leadership Academy on Wednesday, Sept. 19 in Evansville, Ind., for a panel discussion on labor management collaboration and community partnership in education. The panel will include Miller, Dennis Van Roekel, president of the National Education Association (NEA); Dennis Smith, superintendent of Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation; and Keith Gambill, president of the Evansville Teachers Association. The audience will include teachers, union leaders, parents and community members.
