On November 21, 2011, DOT Deputy Secretary John Porcari called on representatives from each of the DOT modes to publicly present the work their offices are doing to achieve the Department's Environmental Justice (EJ) goals. This public meeting also provided an opportunity for the Department leadership to hear feedback from members of the EJ advocacy community and other transportation stakeholders.
