TATM is a process which brings together the S&T Project Leads, Program managers, the users, and the sustainers to assess and manage technology transition from a laboratory environment to a program.  Supporting the implementation of the process, is a relational database which integrates technology project technology readiness levels (TRLs), Integration RLs (IRLs), Manufacturing RLS (MRLs), Budgets, and Schedules with the Acquisition Program budgets, schedules, and acquisition phases.  The resulting roadmap provides technology insertion points.  another outcome of the process is the development of technology transition agreements (TTAs) among all the stakeholders.
