The
intent of these Agreements is to obtain the services
of crew carrier buses for use on a local, Regional
and Nationwide basis to provide firefighter crew
personnel transportation to and from the fire
line. Contractors are responsible for all equipment,
materials, supplies, transportation, lodging,
personnel, and supervision and management of those
personnel, necessary to meet the Agreement specifications.
These buses may be used in fire suppression and
all-hazard incidents. Crew carrier buses may be
used on mountainous roads with gravel or native
surfaces, narrow, unimproved roads, off roads,
in mountainous, rangeland and timbered areas,
and may be operated where there is brush and trees
growing on the shoulders. Our office does not
hire or refer individual firefighters for employment.
