CDC and HRSA supported a collaborative corrections initiative for HIV Prevention, Intervention, and Continuity of Care Within Correctional Settings and the Community. This program addressed the Healthy People 2000 topical areas of HIV Infection & Clinical Preventive Services. The goals of this initiative were to:
