Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples prepares for, plans and conducts military operations in order to preserve the peace, security and territorial integrity of Alliance member states and freedom of the seas and economic lifelines throughout SACEUR's Area of Responsibility (AOR) and beyond.
 
Twenty-two NATO nations contribute to the JFC Naples military staff in order to deter aggression and to contribute to the effective defense of NATO territory and forces, safeguard freedom of the seas and economic lifelines and to preserve or restore the security of NATO  nations.

Naples, Italy – Adm. Bruce W. Clingan, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Naples, recently paused the command's demanding battle rhythm to recognize the resolve and commitment displayed during Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR, the NATO mission to help protect the people of Libya.

Naples, Italy - U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Smith receives the Joint Service Achievement Medal from Maj. Gen. Garry Dean, Director of Operations, Allied Joint Force Command Naples on Aug. 31 for his quick thinking and heroic rescue efforts after a residential accident left a fellow service member severely injured.

Naples, Italy -  Allied Joint Forces Command Naples hosted a War of 1812 Bicentennial observation and remembrance ceremony Aug. 14, 2012 as members of Allied Joint Force Command Naples, Maritime Command Naples, and the U.S. Navy took time out of their day to remember those who fought in protection of their nation so long ago.
