OPERATIONAL ARCHIVES
The Operational Archives at the Washington Navy Yard is open for researchers from 0900-1600 Mondays and Fridays only.
This adjustment is to allow preparation for moving a significant portion of archival material to facilities with archival standard environmental conditions.

CURATOR ARTIFACT COLLECTION
The Curator Branch of the NHHC at the Washington Navy Yard recently completed the process of relocating collections deemed to be at "High Risk" to proper storage facilities in preparation for a mold remediation project. During this work phase, access to parts of the Curator Artifact Collection is not possible. Curator Branch staff is available to respond to inquiries. Updates will be provided as to when normal operations are restored.

Changes to operational schedule.

The Photographic Section will be closed from 1-12 October for the training of a new staff member. The section will plan to reopen for business on 15 October.
Navy Art Gallery The Art Gallery is closed to visitors.

The Art Gallery's closure is to prepare the collection for movement to an offsite facility with appropriate environmental conditions. The Gallery will reopen in a new location in 2012.
