AFPC to host retirement webinar

12/3/2010 - RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFNS) -- Air Force Personnel Center officials here are scheduled to host two webinars Dec. 9 and 10 to educate total force Airmen on the retirement application process.

AFPC representatives also plan to discuss how to navigate through the virtual Military Personnel Flight secure application to help Airmen become familiar with performing personnel transactions online.

There are two sessions at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day to give Airmen an opportunity to attend from stateside and overseas locations. To attend one of the webinars, visit Defense Connect Online at https://connect.dco.dod.mil/retirementapplicationvmpf.

AFPC officials alsom plan to host other webinars on a reoccurring basis that highlight the officer and enlisted retirement application process, benefits and entitlements and retired pay.

For more information, go online to the AFPC personnel services website at http://gum.afpc.randolph.af.mil and perform a search for webinars. Airmen can also call the Total Force Service Center at 800-525-0102 to speak with an AFPC personnel services representative.
