Simone A. Reba
Deputy Director, DLA Finance
Ms. Simone Reba was inducted into the Senior Executive Service on June 11, 2007 and became the Deputy Director for DLA Finance, Defense Logistics Agency, on April 30, 2007.
The Defense Logistics Agency, headquartered at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is responsible for providing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and other Federal agencies with a variety of logistics, acquisition and technical services in peace and war. These services include logistics information, materiel management, procurement, warehousing and distribution of spare parts, food, clothing, medical supplies and fuel, reutilization of surplus military materiel and document automation and production. This worldwide mission is performed by approximately 21,000 civilian and military personnel with an annual budget of approximately $17 billion.
Ms. Reba began her DLA career in 1986 as a budget analyst in the Stock Fund Branch. Since that time, she has held various and progressively more responsible positions, including Chief of Financial Operations for the Defense National Stockpile Center, and Staff Director of the Acquisition and Information Technology group in Program Budget. For the past 7 years,
Ms. Reba has been the Financial Process Owner for the Business Systems Modernization Program, now the Enterprise Business System.
Ms. Reba obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees, Business Administration and Marketing, from Florida State University. In 1994, she obtained a Master's Degree in Public Administration, Financial Management Emphasis, from Troy State University, Alabama.
