Commerce Under Secretary for Intellectual Property David Kappos to Discuss Administration's views on Patent Reform

WASHINGTON – U.S. Commerce Under Secretary for Intellectual Property David Kappos will discuss the Obama administration’s position on S.515, the patent reform legislation currently under consideration in the U.S. Senate, on a press conference call today. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Kappos are committed to doing everything possible to help pass a bipartisan patent reform bill through the Senate and House in this session of Congress. Patent reform is an administration priority and is vital to encouraging innovation and turning around the economy.
