USPTO Offers Alexandria Businesses Tips on “How to do Business with the USPTO”

The Department of Commerce’s United States Patent and
Trademark Office (USPTO) will co-host a conference with the
Alexandria Small Business Development Center entitled, "How to
Do Business with the USPTO," on September 8, 2004, from 8:00 to
11:00 a.m. at the USPTO's new headquarters in Alexandria. This
conference is intended to educate and guide Alexandria's small
business community about the contract opportunities available
at the USPTO by providing information on how the agency
acquires its goods and services.
More than half of the USPTO’s approximately $400
million procurement spending for fiscal year 2004 has been
awarded to small businesses.
