A Group Visit to Permanent Exhibition: The Holocaust

Passes to enter the Museum’s Permanent Exhibition are not required September through February. Year-round, no passes are required to enter the Museum or to visit our special exhibitions, but passes are required for the Permanent Exhibition from March through August.

General Information and Instructions

Arrival and Entry

All visitors must pass through security, which includes metal detectors and scanners. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your reservation to allow time to pass through security. Since the Museum does not have the check room capacity to hold the personal items of groups, it is strongly recommended that groups do not bring their coats and bags with them to the Museum.

Small booklets, or Identification Cards, are given to visitors just before they enter the Permanent Exhibition: The Holocaust. The cards personalize Holocaust history by telling the story of someone who was persecuted during the Nazi era.

Museum Resources

From study guides and Museum maps to café menus, these resources will enrich your group’s visit to the Permanent Exhibition: The Holocaust and the Museum.

Make your visit complete

After touring the Permanent Exhibition: The Holocaust, find out more about Holocaust history, how you can remember the victims, and ways to confront hatred and help to prevent genocide. Visit the Museum’s Memorials, the Wexner Center, and the exhibition Remember the Children: Daniel’s Story.
