Licensing NIDDK Technologies
NIDDK is committed to transferring its technologies and research materials through partnerships with industry to benefit public health. If your organization has potential interest in a specific NIDDK technology or NIDDK technologies in a particular research area, please contact OTTD so we can explore possible opportunities with your organization. To acquire rights to an NIDDK technology or research material for commercial purposes, a license is required. There are various types of licenses that are tailored for specific commercial uses, for example:
- Biological Materials License
- Commercial Evaluation License
- Internal Commercial Use License
- Nonexclusive Patent License
- Exclusive Patent License
