Through Oct. 7: Indie films in London
Love film, but not necessarily the stuff Hollywood churns out? London’s Raindance Festival, which supports and promotes independent filmmakers, runs through Oct. 7 at the Apollo Piccadilly Circus.
The 12-day event offers screenings of more than 100 feature-length and 150 short films from 42 countries. Regarded as one of Europe’s leading independent film festivals, Raindance celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
To get your fill of movie viewing, buy a screening pass for 60 British pounds including VAT, which gives viewers access to all showings with the exception of the opening and closing films. A program is included in the price.
