Employment Network

Connecting Service Members, Families and Job Opportunities

The Employment Network is the National Guard’s hub for employment services and resources.

The Employment Network’s mission is to help Soldiers and their spouses find employment, and to help locate better jobs and career opportunities for Service Members and spouses who are trying to improve their careers.

This service helps create a network of employment tools and opportunities including:

  • Job announcements and job training
  • Employment services
  • Training programs that promote resilience and self-sufficiency

The Guard wants Soldiers to be aware of the resources available to them. While these vary by state and region, Soldiers and Families can be reassured there's always someone there to help. Find an Employment Network representative in your area.

The Employment Network helps Soldiers and Families work around roadblocks to connect with employers. The network connects a number of resources, including the Department of Labor, Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Education, Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN), and many other national, regional and local services.

Soldiers learn to make the most of other available tools, like:

  • Job Fairs and Hiring Events
  • Skills Assessment
  • Veterans Benefits Assistance
  • Resume and Interview Skills
  • Business Outreach
  • Community Outreach
  • Coaching and Counseling
  • Apprenticeship Creation
  • Partner and Employer Connections
  • Employment or Career Clubs
