NIEA Membership
NIEA members are the lifeblood of this organization. For more than forty years, NIEA has connected people and organizations that are passionately helping Native children excel academically while being grounded in their unique languages and cultures. NIEA is the strategic pacesetter for Indian education policy and continues to develop key partnerships with other organizations to accomplish its mission and better serve its members. NIEA is the voice of American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians on the educational issues of the day.
Annual NIEA membership enables the creation of programs and services, and advocacy to increase the educational excellence and opportunities for Native students, their families and their communities.
