11/15/2011 - GRAND BARA DESERT, Djibouti -- Pararescuemen with the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron conducted a training rescue mission here recently.

The training involved parachuting into a simulated crash site, locating and treating casualties, and coordinating evacuation while maintaining security.

Just a quick comment that it's slightly unexpected to see ground combat forces of the world's premier air service - USAF - parachuting from an aircraft flown by the world's premier marine infantry service - USMC. It shows the versatility of our forces.
