Small Business Day at the U.S. Capitol

AOC Industry Day

Monday, October 22, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. — The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is hosting a Small Business Day on October 22, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center in the South Congressional Meeting Room. This event is for small business concerns and is designed to provide information about doing business with the AOC. The Small Business Day is free and open to any small business owner; however, advance reservation is required. Please e-mail smallbusiness@aoc.gov by October 15, 2012, if you would like to attend.  

The AOC is responsible to the United States Congress and the Supreme Court for the maintenance, operation, development and preservation of 17.4 million square feet of buildings and more than 460 acres of land throughout Capitol Hill.  
 
The AOC is seeking small business concerns that provide products or services that are necessary to maintain and repair the buildings, structures and grounds of the U.S. Capitol; conserve and repair historical objects and artwork; and support the overall functions of the AOC as a Legislative Branch agency.
