    How did the Administration manufacture a drop in the unemployment rate from 8.3% to 8.1%, while announcing that just 96,000 jobs were added?

    Simple - they just said that 368,000 people dropped out of the workforce. The labor participation

    rate declined from 63.7% to 63.5%, the lowest since 1981.

    So even though these people don't have jobs, they are no longer counted as being unemployed. Presto, the unemployment rate "drops"

    Remember: it is an election year.

    The Department of Defense recently announced that it has awarded a $370 million contract to the Royal Jordanian Air Academy to provide English language and aviation training to Iraq. With our country nearly $16 trillion in debt and consistently running annual budget deficits of over $1 trillion, I cannot comprehend how this contract can be a priority for the American people.
