Dear Parents and Command:
The Mediterranean District schools are participating in the ASPEN Gradebook Pilot Program. As with any pilot program, ongoing training is necessary to work through the challenges the new program brings. In addition, there has been a learning curve for teachers and some issues with the performance problems in ASPEN Gradebook. While some of these issues have been resolved, there still are significant others to be overcome. Therefore, the teachers will have an additional half-day per quarter for training. These half-days will take place just day prior to the Teacher Work Day each quarter.
The extra dates are: January 24, April 4, and June 13. On these dates, school will be dismissed at 1100.
We certainly do appreciate your understanding and support.
