Naples wins another one by shutout

NAPLES, Italy - The Naples Wildcats posted two first-quarter touchdowns on turnovers and never looked back Saturday in posting a 31-0 non-conference victory over the visiting Schweinfurt Razorbacks.

Naples (4-0) opened the scoring with a 35-yard field goal by David Arreguin, then posted the first touchdown of the day when Tyler Williams picked off a pass thrown by Derek Shreve from his own end zone on the goal line. After TD runs of 12 yards by quarterback Joseph Pitts and 62 yards by Kyle Baldree, Naples posted its second turnover- TD when Aaron Smith returned a Schweinfurt bobble on the 7-yard line.

That made the score 31-0, and the teams would go the rest of the way without scoring.
Pitts ended the game with 39 rushing yards and completed eight-of-23 passes good for 126 yards, according to Naples assistant Tyler Camarao.

Defensively, Makua Camarao forced a fumble, and Isaiah Wesby collected a sack.
Lajuarren Burks had three receptions for 79 yards and 33 yards rushing to lead Schweinfurt (1-3). The Razorbacks, who got two sacks from Josh Richardson, are next scheduled for a II-North game at ISB.

Naples is to travel to Vicenza the same day for a II-South game.
