The first Fairfield County Fair was held in Lancaster, Ohio, the second week of October, 1851. The Fairfield County Fair is known as The Last and Best of the Season. The goal of our fair is to provide a family oriented event with fun for all ages. So come check out why so many consider the Fairfield County Fair a great county fair and come back every year. The Fairfield County Fair is one of the last county fairs of the year.It offers a variety of attractions including truck, tractor, and horse pulls, demolition derbies, concerts, bands, and horse races.There is also a large assortment of exhibits and rides for all ages. Dates for the Fairfield County Fair are October 7-13 2012.On Monday, October 8, 2012, The Oak Ridge Boys will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. This is a reserved seating event and tickets will be on sale at the Fair Board office on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. Ticket prices are track seating $20.00, grandstand seating $15.00. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted with a minimal handling fee. Checks, cash, and money orders are also accepted. Children under 1 are free to the reserved seating events and will have to be held. All other children will require tickets and will have a seat available for them.Back this year is our Tuesday night ATV Pull. The event starts at 7:30p.m. All participants should fill out ATV Pull Entry Form and bring it with them to the pull for our informational needs. Found under the Forms tab. Rules and Regulations for the ATV Pull can be found under the Forms tab. ** Early Registration for ATV Pull is now being accepted** New this year - Open Class Swine "Jackpot" Show Saturday, October 13, 2012 Show Time: 9:00a.m. $25.00 per entry (limit 2 entries per division) *** SPACE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 150 HEAD *** The deadline to enter is September 25 at 4:00PM. **NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED THE DAY OF SHOW!** Rules and regulations for all events may be picked up at the administration building on the fair grounds or just click on the Forms Tab.
