This building is undergoing a major facelift. This modernization project will transform the facility into a high-performing green building.  Once complete the building is expected to attain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) silver certification. The project includes construction of a new parking garage that touts a one-of-a-kind rooftop solar sculpture. Photovoltaics on the garage will produce 115 kilowatt-hours of electricity that will offset annual energy consumption by 5 percent and offset hot water energy use by 30 percent. For more project details, you may download the project fact sheet here.

More than 300 employees from five federal agencies occupy this facility. These agencies provide extensive services to the surrounding community as well as other city, county, state and national communities.
