MUSIC UP AND UNDER THROUGHOUT
SFX: RUNNING ON A TREADMILL
WIFE: Jack, you got the treadmill working!
JACK (Puffing): Yeah, I added some oil, took off the cobwebs.
WIFE: Don't tell me, you're thinking about that half marathon.
JACK: Maybe. First I gotta lose a few pounds.
WIFE: You know, I've been getting ready for something, too. See this stack of paperwork? Look, I can lift it with one arm.
JACK: Oooh. Impressive. What's in there?
WIFE: Last year’s taxes. I got out the file to help us get ready for this year. We’ve had some changes.
JACK: Yeah, like our income went down. And now Jack Junior has arrived…
WIFE: According to IRS.gov, we can claim him as an exception and deduct his daycare expenses. I couldn’t believe all the digital tax tools and information they have there, like this list of everything we need to get our taxes done right.
SFX: TREADMILL BREAKING
JACK: So….any chance we'll be getting a refund?
