Description: The SSG ILEX 795-TSF is a TEMPEST modified facsimile system consisting of a plain paper facsimile transceiver, scanner and laser printer. The OEM is manufactured by Panasonic as the UF-790 and modified for secure communications by L3 systems, Inc. The SSG ILEX 795-TSF utilizes facsimile transmission protocols to provide documents on A4, letter and legal size plain paper. Copies can be made using the scanning mechanism that is integrated into the SSG ILEX 795-TSF. The machine can also print onto A4, Letter and legal size paper using its standard parallel interface. Another feature of this machine is the use of QuickScan, which is a process that speeds up the loading of documents into memory at a rate of approximately 6 seconds per page at standard resolution. This method also applies faster feeding from the leading to the lagging edge of a single page. The primary intent is to use the SSG ILEX 795-TSF in secure environments. This unit is compatible with a wide range of encryption devices. The SSG ILEX 795-TSF is TEMPEST modified to meet the requirements of AMSG 720B and the Level I requirements of NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92.
