Omari Wooden

Trade Ombudsman

Omari Wooden joined the U.S. Census Bureau's Foreign Trade Division in 1997 and is currently the division's trade ombudsman. He acts as a liaison between the export trade community and government agencies, such as the Census Bureau and Customs and Border Protection, for issues related to the Automated Export System and the Foreign Trade Regulations.

Wooden received his bachelor's degree in mathematics and master's degree in management from the University of Maryland. In addition, he has received a master's certificate in project management from George Washington University.
