The Nevada District Export Council (DEC) is sponsoring this year’s National DEC Conference & Exposition at the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2011 conference begins on Wednesday, November 2 and continues through Saturday, November 5.

Registration is open to both new and established exporters, as well as those just interested in learning about international trade. The conference features nine geography-based education tracks, examining best business practices in Asia, the Americas, and the European Union/Africa countries.

Featured speakers include officials from the Foreign Commercial Service, the Small Business Administration, the Export-Import Bank, the U. S. Trade Development Agency, the U. S. Secretary of Commerce, and the U. S. Trade Representative.

To register for the 2011 DEC Conference & Exposition, visit the website at: http://www.decconference.com

Another popular feature is Export University, a series of courses created by the DEC and the U. S. Commercial Service. Export U, co-sponsored by Federal Express, is designed in three series to fit all levels of exporting experience. Level 101 courses are perfect for new-to-export companies. The more advanced 201 and 301 level courses cover topics from trade finance, export regulations, international compliance standards, to U. S. and international tax benefits available to exporters. Your full conference registration includes Export University tuition; however, space is limited to the first 100 registrants who sign up for Export U.
