Additional Day Added for the Automated Export System (AES) Compliance Seminar in Baltimore, Maryland

**********************************************************************

An Automated Export System (AES) Compliance Seminar along with AESPcLink workshops and a port tour will be hosted for the following location and dates (see table below).

The U.S. Census Bureau experts will cover the filing requirements of the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), how to classify your commodities by providing an understanding of the Schedule B classification requirements, and provide a thorough overview of the AES.

On the second day there will be AESPcLink Workshops where participants can enjoy the benefits of FREE electronic filing of their export information via the Windows-based desktop PC Component AESPcLink. Come learn how to successfully file your export information in this hands-on PC training workshop.

On the third day, the Baltimore Port Tour includes an on the ground look at the operations of Dundalk and Seagirt Marine Terminals. Dundalk is a multi-purpose terminal and the site of the Number #1 Ro-Ro Facility. Seagirt is a pure container terminal. From the bus, you will be able to see the truck inbound and outbound procedures; vessels and cranes during the loading and discharge operations.

Because these are secure facilities, you must have your ID with you; no photographs are allowed to be taken and you must stay on the bus at all times while inside the terminals.

All training is provided by the U.S. Department of Commerce/ U.S. Census Bureau/Foreign Trade Division and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
