 Migration of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Automated Export System (AES) Virtual Private Network (VPN) Endpoints to New Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Data Center VPN Gateways Mandatory Change

Please direct this communication to your IT support personnel to
ascertain which of the two following communications pertains to your
current network connectivity solution:


On the second day, there will be an AESPcLink Workshop where
participants can enjoy the benefits of FREE electronic filing of their
export information via the Windows-based desktop PC Component
AESPcLink. Come learn how to successfully file your export information
in this hands-on PC training workshop.

AES Trade partners that participate in the CBP Trade VPN Program and
use MQ Client to communicate to CBP via Internet VPN
(dynamic VPN client), please follow the attached instructions to
implement a simple change to your configuration to allow your
connection to be pointed to new DHS data center secure VPN gateways. 
This change will be transparent to Trade Partners, but should a Trade
Partner experience an inability to connect after this date/time, please
contact DHS/CBP at 1-877-347-1638 option 1.

AES Trade Partners that participate in the CBP Trade VPN Program and
use MQ Server to communicate to CBP via Internet/MPLS VPN, please be
advised that CBP has actively begun scheduling the migration of your
VPN link to the new DHS Data Center’s VPN Gateways.  This mandatory
migration will enhance availability/uptime and position your company to
be ready in case of unforeseen outages.  Please send your Company name,
technical POC name, email address and phone number to
TICMigration@cbp.dhs.gov for more details and to be scheduled for this
migration.
